I don’t know about you guys, but I often found myself in front of a login screen, almost hitting my head against the screen because i couldn’t remember either the username or the password or both. Sometimes even the website address. I wouldn’t much on it but I guess lots of people went through the same experience, some more often then others. Fortunately for us, the guys with this problem, there’s a solution (isn’t there always?) and it’s called Revelation.
Revelation is a password manager application, mainly designed for the Gnome desktop. (This doesn’t mean however that you won’t be able to used in other desktop environments such as KDE or Xfce, it’s just that you won’t be able to enjoy the full features package.) It stores all your sensitive data in an encrypted XML file, protected by AES encryption which you can access using a master password. Basically, if you decide to use this program, the master password will be the single one you’ll even have to remember from now on, for the rest of your (online) life.
