There's a nice little extension for OpenOffice.org that lets you quickly upload your document to your googledocs account. Click here to get it.

Installing the extension gives you this toolbar, as well as a Google Docs menu.

installing extension doesn't work in Ubuntu 7.10

It seems that the standard Java-version installed in Gutsy is not compatible with this extension. In the description of the extension it is written that Sun Java 6.0 is required.
