In GNOME 3 (be it Fedora 15, Ubuntu 11.10 with Unity or GNOME Shell, etc.), you can't move files or folders to trash by pressing the DELETE key anymore and you must use CTRL + DELETE instead. But you can restore the Gnome 2 behavior - just follow the steps below.

Nautilus Easy Union is a Nautilus extension (comes as a stand-alone application too, but it requires Nautilus anyway) that allows you to create a "union point" which is basically a folder that displays the contents of other (multiple) directories. You can use it for easily accessing all your pictures, music, videos or other files from a single location.

A long time ago, we wrote about a Nautilus extension (called Nautilus Columns) which adds music (mp3, WAV and FLAC) and EXIF metadata info to the Nautilus List View. Well, I though I'd rescue this extension (as it's no longer packaged as a .deb) and upload it to the WebUpd8 PPA so it can be easily installed.

A tool to configure the Nautilus Elementary (NE-Terminal-Config) terminal was released last week but it was only working with Nautilus Elementary from BZR. But the Nautilus Elementary PPA has been updated today now only works with NE-Terminal-Config, but it also integrates it with Nautilus Elementary: to configure the terminal, simply right click it and select the configuration option.

Usually to share a file using Dropbox, you have to manually copy it into the Dropbox public folder, then when it's uploaded you have to right click it and select Dropbox > Copy Public Link.
