In an attempt to get Ubuntu working on any ARM based device (as long as there is hardware available), Ubuntu Netbook Edition (UNE) 10.04 will ship with a new 2D launcher which is a direct clone of the UI found in the Ubuntu 9.10 Netbook Remix,

I've finally got Plymouth up and running on Ubuntu Lucid. Here is a screenshot of the Solar Plymouth theme:
Wasp, one of the Ubuntu Lucid proposed themes has been updated to version 0.8.
The new version does not require the Stylish addon for Firefox and also, there are not multiple versions anymore, just an editor you can use to create your own Wasp suited for your taste:
The first beta of KDE SC 4.4 has packages available in the Beta PPA. Ubuntu Lucid users can simply "sudo apt-get upgrade" to upgrade to the latest packages.
Ubuntu Karmic users have to add the following PPA (although I strongly advise you not to upgrade to KDE 4.4 beta, especially on a production machine):
Ubuntu Software Center (initially Ubuntu Software Store) was released with Ubuntu 9.10 Karmic Koala and it currently has only a few of the features it was designed for, being just stage 1 out of 4.
Ubuntu Sun is a new proposed theme for Ubuntu Lucid Lynx for which, up until now there was only an unofficial version available for download which is now called Ubuntu Sun X.
