There's a lot of catching up to do, and I'll start with the updated Light Themes package which landed in Ubuntu 10.10 Maverick Meerkat while I was away. To make it easy to install for everybody still using Ubuntu 10.04 Lucid Lynx, we've uploaded the Ubuntu Maverick version to the WebUpd8 Light Themes PPA.

Unity received yet another update in Ubuntu Netbook Edition 10.10 Maverick Meerkat yesterday. This version partially fixes the application search in the Unity application launcher and file browser - also known as Dash (the file search actually looks completely fixed).
The Unity Launcher-dock won't get an autohide feature in Ubuntu Netbook Edition 10.10, however such a feature is planned for UNE 11.04. That's probably going to annoy a lot of people: most websites are not designed for browsing on a screen width smaller than 1024px and even applications like OpenOffice are hard to use with the Unity Launcher on a 7 inch screen.
An update today brought lots of changes to the Ubuntu Software Center. The most notable are an animated "Featured applications" section as well as a Launchpad login (now called Ubuntu login).
